Kleine, balusterförmige Vase mit außergewöhnlichen Handhaben in Form barocker Delphine. Auf der leicht – wie Muscheln – reliefierten Wandung umgehende Blumenmalerei und dezente Goldstaffage. Die Delphine ’naturalistisch‘ bemalt.

Der Boden unglasiert mit blauer Schwertermarke und den typischen Signet der Königlichen Hofconditorey am Dresdner Hof. Aufgrund der muschelartigen Oberfläche der Vase und der Griffe in Form von Delphinen, ist davon auszugehen, dass dieses Stück im Rahmen des berühmten Schwanenservices des Grafen Brühl entworfen worden sind.

Small, baluster-shaped vase with unusual handles in the shape of baroque dolphins. Flower painting on the slightly reliefed wall and some decent gilding. The bottom unglazed with a blue crossed swords mark and the typical signet of the Royal Court Confectionery at the Dresden court (K.H.C.).

Due to the shell-like surface of the vase and the handles in the shape of dolphins, it can be assumed that this piece was once designed as a part of Count Brühl’s famous swan service
